Caving provides an opportunity to discover the fascinating natural world beneath your feet.
Expect to spend about three hours underground exploring the naturally formed network of passages with all sorts of obstacles along the way.
There are underground waterfalls, twisty passages, fossils, stalagmites and stalactites, and even the occasional optional climb or squeeze!
There is usually plenty of water along the way so expect to get wet to at least your knees. There may be the opportunity to abseil and climb ladders within the cave.
Caving takes place in the Yorkshire Dales, in the Ingleton area. the activity is weather dependent so plans may change on wet days.
We can travel to Yorkshire from Glaramara for a full day out or meet you in Yorkshire for a half day session.
Please see our skills pages on the website if you wish to learn more about the technical aspects of caving, including Single Rope Technique skills. Or even get in touch to gain professional qualifications.
