Wine, Food and Guided Walk Weekend – 2010
Come and enjoy an extended fun, entertaining and enjoyable weekend of Wine and Food Appreciation with a professional experienced wine educator. The weekend will be aimed at those with a limited appreciation of wine or to complete novices and will also feature winter walking under the supervision of our Outdoor Instructors
We have completed quite a large refurbishment programme in the first floor of the main house. New electrical and plumbing systems have been installed together with a refurbishment and redecoration of the landings and 22 single rooms.
The ladies showers and toilets have also been completely refitted. We think you will notice a considerable difference.
A rare window of opportunity arose during the recent cold spell. Glaramara were approached by the Times to assist with a feature on activities which have thrived where most have put on hold. A group of walkers including representatives of the YHA and the T0urism and Conservation Partnership (TCP) were treated to a ‘walk and talk’ by Richard Fox of the Lake District National Park.
