The works which began back in November have finally been completed.  The results are for all to see.  Well worth the expense and disruption.   We hope you enjoy these enhanced facilities on your next visit to Glaramara.

We have a separate Facility in the grounds of Glaramara.  It was purpose built with the aim of providing modern, customer friendly area for both residential and day programmes.   In partnership with Honister Slate Mine and the Cumberland Pencil Museum, this weekend involves visits to both the Plumbago wad mine at Seathwaite and the Slate Mine at Honister as well as presentations from local experts combined with guided walks.

Come and enjoy an extended fun, entertaining and enjoyable weekend of Wine and Food Appreciation with a professional experienced wine educator.  The weekend will be aimed at those with a limited appreciation of wine or to complete novices and will also feature winter walking under the supervision of our Outdoor Instructors

Glaramara organised a week long visit to France for a group of Adventure Tourism students in February.
