Revisiting Glaramara 50 years on

We received a surprise visit from John Buckley and his wife, Marian, from Rochdale who were spending a few days at Bassenthwaite as part of an Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club get together. 

GMTV AT GLARAMARA

After a call, literally the evening before, GMTV came to do a feature at the Centre relating to ‘children being wrapped in cotton wool’ due to the perceived risks in undertaking outdoor activities.

Celebrating 50 years with a blindfold and some ropes (all above board!)

A 10 strong group of funseekers arrived from Gateshead this weekend hoping to celebrate Philip Oswald’s 50th birthday with some fun in the outdoors. 

NEW ACTIVITY BASE AND TRAINING SUITE
