Wine, Food and Guided Walk Weekend –  2010

Come and enjoy an extended fun, entertaining and enjoyable weekend of Wine and Food Appreciation with a professional experienced wine educator.  The weekend will be aimed at those with a limited appreciation of wine or to complete novices and will also feature winter walking under the supervision of our Outdoor Instructors

The proposed format is as follows:

Day 1

Guests  arrival – late afternoon/early evening

7.00pm: Introduction to event and Reception drink welcome before dinner

7.30pm for 7.45pm: Dinner (3 courses) where the selected wines are introduced to guests during each course of their meal.

Day 2

Breakfast

10.30am - midday: Tutored wine tasting

12.30pm: Depart for planned walk or excursion (including lunch)

5.00pm: Return to Centre

7.00pm: Reception drink

7.30pm for 7.45pm Dinner: Format as above

Day 3

Breakfast

10.30am - midday: Tutored wine tasting

12.30: Depart for walk or excursion (including lunch)

5.00pm: Return to Centre

7.00pm Black Tie Champagne reception

7.30pm for 7.45pm Dinner: Format as above – including 4 courses

Day 4

Breakfast

10.30am - midday: Blind wine tasting & Lake District Quiz

Guests departure

We are currently trying to guage interest in running such an Event in 2010.   A similar weekend can also be offered over two nights, where there is demand.
