Location

Glaramara Adventure Centre is ideally located for outdoor activities and field studies. Situated in the Borrowdale valley at the heart of the English Lake District, surrounded by some of the most stunning English fells, crags, ghylls and lakes.
Below are travel directions and a map of Borrowdale in Cumbria. Glaramara, in the village of Seatoller, is marked with a circle.

Via Road - Take the M6 motorway to junction 40 (Penrith). Follow signs to Keswick and West Cumbria (A66). Head into Keswick, at the mini roundabout  take the B5289 (signposted Borrowdale) which leads you south beside the lake (Derwentwater). Go past the village of Grange (on your right) and proceed through Rosthwaite. 7 miles from Keswick, just before the village of Seatoller, find Glaramara Adventure Centre on your right.

Via Rail - Take the London to Glasgow express train from Euston Station, London to Penrith, the Lake District. (we can advise on rail travel, please call 017687 77222)

Via Air - There are 3 major airports within 2 hours of The Glaramara Centre, Manchester, Glasgow or Newcastle.
