Hill Walking
The English Lake District has some of the most beautiful mountains in the United Kingdom, so why not come along for a walk with one of our enthusiastic and well informed staff? The delights of strolling amongst these fells have been well documented by the likes of Wordsworth and Wainwright. The exceptional range and variety of walks on offer provide many opportunities for ramblers of all backgrounds to experience these beautiful hills.
Walking Weekend
This weekend course will look at the basics for travelling safely in the hills, whilst visiting some of the Lakes’ best kept secrets. The course content will include:
- Equipment
- Planning
- Navigation and route finding
- Mountain weather
The weekend includes two nights’ full board accommodation and two full days on the hill with a qualified instructor.
