Unlike many hotels and other venues, which are able to provide a room or set aside an area for your event, we can offer you exclusive use of the entire Venue, including accommodation, should you so wish.

Academic, vocational or purely for the fun in learning, we think Glaramara provides a desirable setting to run your course. You organise and run the course. We, in turn, provide all the ancillary services you would expect from a venue provider.

We are able to provide modern facilities in a unique setting for businesses.
Glaramara lends itself well as a location for business to enjoy some peace and quiet, away from the pressures and distractions of the daily work routine. Our main lounge can convert easily into a presentation area, workshop space or meeting room and is large enough to hold a large number of delegates. In addition, we have rooms dedicated for smaller groups both within the main building and in our Acitivity Facility & Training Suite. We are able to provide the presentation equipment, stationary, refreshments, wi-fi access and other services which you would naturally expect from a venue provider. Unlike other venues, we do not make an additional charge for your use of our audio-visual equipment.
As detailed on our Corporate Groups page, we would also be happy to design an outdoor activity programme for your delegates.

Fundraising/Charitable Causes
Do you want to raise money for your local school, a local charity or for a national cause? Whether you choose a dinner dance, themed evening or charity auction Glaramara offers a lovely setting for your event.
Celebrations
Come and celebrate your birthday party (recent example), wedding anniversary, school reunion or child’s christening at Glaramara. Hold your firm’s Christmas party on one of our dedicated party nights in December. With extensive off road parking and a sizeable sun terrace overlooking the field to the front it is an ideal setting for children (and adults!) to have fun in a safe environment. In the warmer/lighter months, you may wish to build in an outdoor element into the Event by adding a marquee, gazebo or other outside feature.

We are happy to assist in whichever way you choose with regard to your private hire. We can offer a full service whereby you let us take care of all the arrangements or, alternatively, we are happy to let you take care of the finer details. We will always be available for consultation and to make suggestions along the way.
ii) Food & Drink
Enjoy a celebratory drink and good conversation by the log-fire in the comfort of our bar.
Award winning chef, Gareth Speight, is happy to talk to organisers about their specific catering and dietary requirements, whether it be dressed buffet style, a more traditional sit down meal, champagne reception or any alternative ideas.
iii) Entertainment
We can assist in sourcing and arranging your entertainment requirements, ranging from live music through to children’s party entertainers.
Accommodation as part of your Course or Event
As part of all the above courses and events, we would be pleased to provide full board accommodation as part of your package. Our Food and Drink is particularly well received and we are confident that it competes favourably with other business venues in the area. We, also, have arrangements with local hotels should this be of interest to you. We offer particularly good rates for winter bookings.
