When searching the name ‘Borrowdale’ worldwide, very few locations appear. For, what we think, is a rather charming name, this is rather surprising.
One place that does ‘appear’ is a residential suburb in the north of Harare, Zimbabwe. Rather appropriate to its ‘grand’ name, it ranks among the most affluent and prestigious residential areas in the country. At a significant height of 1590 m it forms part of the Northeast suburbs of the city with a population of 20,312 as of the Zimbabwe 2012 Census.

The area certainly looks as if it would make a very nice destination. Perhaps we need to consider a formal ‘twinning’.
