The Falls Spa (Derwentwater):
On the shores of the lake, next to the Lodore Falls, this Spa is part of the Lodore Falls Hotel. This is close to the Glaramara Hotel and you will likely pass it on the Borrowdale road to reach us. Variously priced packages are available for day visitors with more details of this on their website.
Puzzling Place (Keswick Town Centre):
Close to the hotel in Keswick. It includes gravity defying rooms, optical illusions, and many brain demanding puzzles .
The Rheged Centre (near Penrith on the A66 to Keswick):
Slightly further afield but worth a visit as part of your day out. It includes a 3D cinema, artisan shops, gallery, spa, indoor and outdoor play areas, a restaurant and café, There are regular exhibitions, markets and fairs.
Brockhole (on the shores of Lake Windermere):
This is the Lake District National Park Visitor Centre. All the things you would expect from a Visitor Centre which is set in its own extensive gardens, Outdoor activities include a tree-top ropes challenge, mini-golf and boat hire. Regular exhibitions
Lakes Aquarium (on the shores of Lake Windermere):
The Aquarium is situated at one of the stopping points for both the Windermere Lake Cruises and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway with combined tickets for all three available.
